huh... you can make a mod in kenshi where you do nothing but delete every npc and it just... works? you can just load into the game when no npcs exist?
(except the wanderer because that's the character base used for the wanderer game start. and tbh i didn't even try deleting it. maybe that somehow works too)

i've had a very wacky and far too ambitious idea of like, using kenshi's engine as a base to make a completely new Thing and this makes that seem a lot more feasible... but that's way too big an undertaking for a guy who said "i'm gonna beat every n64 racing game :)" and completed like, 4? out of 60+?

i simply cannot finish a project of any kind. it's a miracle if i ever get something out of a planning/experimenting stage

trying to think of some kind of dragon's dogma challenge i can do if i'm gonna replay it but i'm coming up very empty. the best i've got is like, using cheat engine tables to modify difficulty or something. i don't really know what else would make that game harder in a way that i haven't already done to death

i tried a difficulty mod a few years back but it seemed like the difficulty was all over the place. at some points it felt identical to the original, at other points i was doing literally zero damage to enemies. i don't know if maybe i was misunderstanding something about it but it was not very fun
