The new Patreon content guidelines are out. There are few surprises in it. Mostly, it includes new things that are emphatically banned, rather than implicitly banned.
"Fantasy violence" is acknowledged as something that exists, but there is no provision for "fantasy sex". It would be acceptable to use Patreon to promote a stream of Call of Duty - a game that advertises high-resolution depictions of how to own and to operate name-brand weapons while committing actual war crimes - as long as it's "fantasy violence". But no vampires. 🤔
I suppose, by some definition, if one consents to be a soldier or to be an orc, one consents to be killed? But not when one puts on a costume? ☹️
