in the process of confirming that there isn't a way to block results from goog searches any more (for my last post), i bumbled across this question on quora

lo and behold, the top answer is some auto-generated garbage from chatgpt. above all of the "real" answers. it's semi-hidden by a "continue reading" button, but that's the same kind of button real sites (annoyingly) use to hide content until you interact with the page

it's not fun thinking about how we're rapidly reaching the point where most of the internet is going to be this sort of ai-generated gibberish, fed off of itself infinitely

I ended up uBlocking www.quora.com##div.q-box.qu-borderAll:has(img[alt="Profile photo for ChatGPT"]) to try to hide that box, for myself at least. Very not a fan of the trend to add a "the computer bullshits with confidence" box to websites.
