in "pointless things nobody will care about", the title screen for this thing actually writes a line of blank tiles directly under where the copyright goes.
these are the kinds of utter minutiae that probably wouldn't be fit for a tcrf article. "a blank string exists, somewhere." yeah, ok, cool. but i like it, so you get to hear about it, too.
(the background colors are an artifact of setting up this screen to do my bidding.)
fun fact: both of my disassemblies of these crap gambling games started with hacks. first, a bootleg of dian shi ma li that edited out the title text (and maybe added some multicart code); second, jackpot... which itself appears to be a recompiled version of shui guo li, the taiwanese original.
so now i'm juggling three versions of this stupid gambling game.
