This was surprisingly common to see at mom-and-pop rental stores in my area; Whiz Bang Video in Cornelius, OR used it for sure (prior to their unfortunate closing in 2000).

Doesn't really get us any closer to knowing who made it, but I guess a "hey I remember this too" is better than nothing 🤷‍♂️

Funny the manual literally says call us but there's no name or number to be found.

I'm coming up empty handed too, with the sole exception of trying to track down a previous employee of "PC America," of Conger, NY, to ask if this is a very old work of theirs, but that's like the faintest connection - their big product as of the late 90s was The General Store and there's no mention of Video Express at all in web scrapes from then. So, just a few vague hunches on this and nothing definite.
