very interesting piece. also interesting to think about in the context of ideas of political lesbianism that were around at the time, it feels like there are some similar threads here.

it also reminded me a little of the feminist sex wars that were to come later in the decade, and it turns out that someone with the same name (Lisa Orlando) wrote a masters thesis on that as it was occurring about 10 years later

this is the only other piece of feminist writing by a person with this name that i was able to turn up, so i think it’s likely to be the same person who has author credit on this asexual manifesto
