Had a whole hecking short film dream today about a lesbian couple in their late 30s / early 40s visiting some extended family gathering at someone's house for something that looked like a funeral.
So, at one point the main character of this short, a cis woman, joins her trans wife at a small table, where she's already been sitting with some "Freddy Got Fingered"-looking dude who's been pestering her.
"A trans woman who can't hear. And now your hearing augmentations are failing. Who's going to fix them for you now?" he asked as if he was making some fucking point. To which the trans woman replied with a calm smile:
"Life is some precious confidence is all."
And then I woke up and wrote it down. T^T
