Finally modded my Wii U, but can't play any Wii U games at the moment, as they require an external HDD, so I'm just downloading a bunch of GameCube games, most of which are just going to be a nostalgic trip into my PC gamer childhood.

Enter the Matrix and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 are going to be my top priority :)

But also I'm excited to finally check out XGIII (Extreme-G 2 was my favourite racing game on PC at some point), R: Racing Evolution (women! rivals! racing!), and SSX Tricky (so intrigued to find out why it's considered to be the coolest snowboarding game by many folks).

I think it's basically the same stuff that is used in Wii modding, just for vWii in this case :O

🤝 about the HDD; had to wait for a month for it to arrive before I could play Wii U games, too, it was so tedious...

Practical question: What do you play GameCube games with on your Wii U? Which controller I mean?

I played with the main Wii U controller for a while, but I think my Wii U Pro controller also worked with GameCube games... It's been 3 months and I already don't remember x___x

Oooh 😯 So the reason I asked is that I couldn't get anything aside from Wiimote to work in GameCube games, even tho I really wanted to use my Pro controller with them (but even the main one didn't work): did it just work or did you have to do smth for it to work? If you remember this of course sdfhj

I had to install a forwarder for Nintendont. I'm not sure where I found one, but I suppose it was the vWii one mentioned here:
