Decided to look back at some of the cohost stuff I did last year that I put too much effort in, and turned out — it was a pretty good year of chosting. So I thought it would be nice to make a list of all these fun 2023 projects, and maybe someone who missed any of them could check them out.

I organized my own small scale short film fest! It was very fun to dig through Vimeo lists in order to find 10 potentially cool short films without watching them (so it could be a fun first watch for me too). I made a big uwufufu list of Best Sonic Zone Music because I thought the ones that were on the website at the moment were not complete enough. And now 2.5 more Sonic games came out since then, and I probably need to update it at some point X___X [link]

Translated to English a long read article from 2008 about the antifa movement in Russia. It was probably the most difficult thing I did last year. Really overestimated my abilities, but with the help of my friends I think it turned out pretty well. [link]

Made a music mix and a post about the "Brit-Rock" period of the DIY Indie Rock Scene in Russia (2007-2009). Was really fun to make the mix and to dig into the biographies of each featured band. [link]

Another nostalgia music mix from me — this time it's about the bubblegum pop / future bass soundcloud era of 2013-2016. Was honestly expecting more people to dig this one and maybe share their own memories of that time, but it kinda went unnoticed. [link]

Then I got really deep into LEGO for a couple of months, which led me to a new hobby: LEGO MOCs! I would love to build more stuff in 2024, and I'm also getting inspired by things people build and post on cohost, so hopefully I can post more of those too. [link] [link] [link] [link]

My biggest project of 2024 — niceRO — a functional Ragnarok Online Episode 10 private server that has found its place on cohost and that hopefully can attract even more people to check it out this year. [link]

And finally, a Christmas treat nobody asked for: 99 Xmas / New Year Songs [Chaotic Mix] — a tier list of songs about New Year, Christmas, Winter, or December which also turned out to be a nice(?) festive youtube music playlist. I'm really glad some people actually listened to all the songs and made their own tier lists T^T [link]
