duckstation (in software rendering) firmly goes into the "practically impossible to differentiate from hardware" category of emulators honestly, save for the very slight input delay (that cannot be mitigated with the linux appimage, no option for exclusive fullscreen 😖) also for some reason it can't access optical drives on linux so i'm going to be ripping most of my (not burned) ps1 games soon
this might be a repeat post, but it's as good as xebra ime, mednafen is good too but i was having a fuckin time (actual time) trying to map the inputs correctly on the dualshock 4, at least using mednaffe. like about 2 minutes per input, across at least 50 attempts per input.
