in practice, regularly above 400k.
non-tetris fact for some fun:
the same batteries (four ikea aa's) that were powering this when this image was taken 5 yrs ago are still powering it today no problem (i regularly check for battery acid, bettery {keeping this typo} than duracell so far). all of that on top of the fact that the (stock) DMG-01 still has hands down the best battery life i've seen in any piece of portable consumer electronics that is intended to be actively used, save for some calculators. at least 40 hours, 80+ without sound.
