the current struggle:

I have a lot of stories I can't post here yet, because I feel doing so without images to go with 'em will make people just skip over any big walls of text I have. and the images will help a lot. but I have to draw them.

I've been stalled out on drawing for a while and only just managed to find something that might fix that, a simple little warm-up exercise. how it works is, I scribble something with a massive brush, get a loose shape from that, then try to draw what I see in that shape.

it works. it helps fight against the mental inertia that's been weighing down on me for so long. I just need it to also let me go past that, and draw things I've been unable to touch for so long.

so I can finish things for other people. so I can finish things for me. so I can give shapes to the Hyperion that people can actually see with their eyes.

I feel like I'm running out of time to fix this, here.

Having dealt with similar issues until recently, I'd like to encourage this! Any amount of progress toward your goals is good, regardless of how late you think you might be in achieving it.

will do my best to! though I figure I should say, the feeling of running out of time is less "years on the clock" sort of thing, and more "this might turn into how I pay the bills, but I need to actually do it or they'll catch up with me"
