while making this song i imagined some night city area in a game or somethin but i can see it fitting with that too
the percussion is very goofy, and the speedy party-like nature of the chords gives it quite a silly feeling. as well as the speed of the chord, give a racing quick feeling. large dirty synths would work for a lively midnight city i think :0
either way, this suits track suits your description just as well!
