i really love it when this can apply for anthro characters, because any predisposed human like i was can be looking at them and be like
hey! wait! they started out just like me and now they're this wonderful thing! maybe that could happen to me! maybe i could become the wonderful non-human thing!

Its such a good feeling, especially when you can see people realize they can also not be a human and embrace it along side you.
