a slow transformation alone feels so sad...
they should have someone with them, to help them when their changing bodies ache, to share in every little newfound joy of nonhumanity, to keep them company through the long nights when they're not quite where they want to be and have so long to go...
this still lives rent free in our head
sharing joy and comfort together through changes..... aaaa
