this place was hyped the hell up on travel channel when i was a kid, i finally visited 6 years ago on the way back from an airshow and it did not live up to those expectations lmao
but i love the "state line fireworks loophole" industry for being so dumb and yet so funny
Yeah, Iβve been passing it for ages before finally deciding to stop today and take a look. It was definitely an odd little place! Just a chaotic mash of buildings that have somehow been bolted together over the decades with the βPedroβ theme. Canβt imagine it being a destination these days, but I gotta appreciate the novelty of the joint.
if you want fireworks or cheap Myrtle Beach tchotchkes it's sure a place you can go! it felt run down and decrepit as all hell when I went, really. absolutely dingy.

dingy, off-color, vaguely "i feel like if this weren't grandfathered in from another time it would be much more appalling" past its prime kinda place. which is i suppose a lot of roadside americana in one fell swoop
i settled for a pin when I went, because like. If i wanted cheap myrtle beach junk i'd want to at least get it from myrtle beach lmao, as unlikely as it is that i'll ever find mooself there.
Just get CookOut instead with your lunch money while in the carolinas.
