day 26 of the yotsuben logo redesign challenge: Daily Bugle
another one that i had to wrap up on earlier than anticipated due to work stuff, but onward and upward! originally wanted “Daily Bugle” to be coming out of a bugle like a megaphone, but couldn’t quite get it to work in a way i was happy with. circled back around and did a more traditional approach, focused on hitting the aesthetic side of things instead. maybe the “Y” is playing the bugle here?
tomorrow: Speedwagon Foundation!
day 2 of the yotsuben logo redesign challenge: Oscorp
was feeling a bit more retro this time, inspired a bit by the retro aperture science logo. originally i tried to get more elaborate with the green goblin references, but realized i was over-complicating things. took a step back and just stuck with just a stepped color change from purple/maroon to green. fairly happy with the colors -- it's tough to make the green and purple goblin colors looks professional, but i think i got at least halfway there.
