suppose this is as good a time as any to start posting about music. here's my pick for the week. solefald are norwegian and work from a familiar base of norwegian metal but pull in musical themes and instrumentation from all over the place to create an album that seem to be on the verge of shattering to pieces through its whole runtime. lyrically it runs from meditations on the aftershocks of anders breivik's terrorism to the phonetically satisfying but meaningless "bububu boliness boyalty / bububu bolefald bruitbakes". there's also some norwegian in there. sadly it seems like solefald hasn't put out anything since.
