as tempting as it is to just post the most out-there experimental/heavy stuff I can think of, i'm going to try to post some more approachable things as well. today's pick is the DJs Aly El Sayed Amr Fathalah and Fadi Wassef Naguib, better known as Aly & Fila. Collectively they run the Future Sound of Egypt label and weekly show, but they also produce their own tracks and they're fantastic. the following pair of tracks were the state of trance tunes of the year for 2020 and 2021, and they're fully deserving of that title.
