pink floyd's the wall sold thirty million copies. granted it came out in a very different time with regards to how people spent money on music. but that type of album finding such overwhelming success seem unfathomable in this day and age.
(in case you were wondering, dark side of the moon sold forty five million. but that album is half as long!)
