i should have most of the stuff i should need to go primal dark, including a ULB hades. all i need now is the strength of will to spend all those dama bars i've saved up. i might even get an ereshkigal. who can say.

i've always wanted to be able to do a full-auto solo of the hard faa-san raid. there are a number of methods of how to do this out there, but i wasn't satisfied with the consistency of any of them. so i came up with my own. i'm still tweaking some things and am going to have to spend a decent chunk of time in the replicard mines. but i'll probably record something when i'm happy with its consistency.
in other news, looks like ironwail will probably be my source port of choice going forward. it's missing a couple features from joequake that i would have like for recording and capturing demos. i could probably read enough ironwail source to figure this out but i am too tired for that. i'll probably just keep stapling things together in powershell until i figure it out.
i recorded exactly one level so far and wound up mangling the start a bit with ffmpeg, but otherwise it came out alright. the other exciting problem is the quad damage has a slight flicker to its screen effect that causes exciting bitrate problems. maybe there's a mod out there that fixes that.
