i think maybe the magnitude of difference that coffee makes to my quality of life in both directions (productivity and ability to take care of myself goes up like 1000%, but at the price of increased anxiety, worse sleep, and more tummy issues) means i should consider adhd medication after all
i drank basically 1-2 cups a day for the past 5 years or so and it was not a good way for me to live, but i went cold turkey on it at the end of last year and it sucks just as much but in kind of opposite directions. i wish i could find a middle ground of "functional but not wound up to the point of strain"
