reminds me how a common aspect of backrooms fanon is "almond water" found ambiently around the backrooms effectively being a healing potion, when the original mention of almonds in relation to the backrooms was that the smell of specifically bitter almonds implied ambient cyanide poisoning
so how that got mangled into an unironic "almond water is safe and good for you, lick it off the walls :)" baffles me
