these are the "if you get them close enough it won't matter if you drop them" friends
outside of how much these sticks probably dissolve your soft tissue cells, i do like the ubiquity of a fucked up well used sharpie
they're not overwhelmingly dangerous each in isolation, not the way 60Co might be, but they get really spicy in conjunction with each other
so much that the taking of this photograph almost killed a bunch of people (it's possible just reaching out to move the rods apart could trigger an event that would kill everyone nearby), and the fact that it even exists led to a serious reckoning with safety protocols costing many millions of dollars
