every time I read the acronym "ERP" and it means Enterprise Resource Planning and not the other thing I am taken aback
In the first year of US law school, everyone takes a class called civil procedure, which is essentially about how lawsuits move through the court system. This class heavily features a set of rules called the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. One important rule lays out the general rules for discovery (i.e. requesting documents and other things from the other party).
This very important rule is Rule 34.
