Okay I just read through all of What Happens Next by Max Graves so far on a recommendation and I've never seen such a raw representation of what it's like to be extremely online and transgender. Every character is terrible but incredibly humanised and complex at the same time. This webcomic is important queer literature to me. You should read it, but heed the content warnings. It gets really rough.
If I had to sum up the themes of it I'd say it's about, like... How people who have been traumatised can use that to avoid responsibility for their own actions, and the way that tragedy is treated as a spectacle online. It was genuinely cathartic to read for me.
