I'm watching Scorpy play Heavy Rain and it's still so funny after all this time. It's really fascinating how the big twist completely fails in part because you spend the whole game literally hearing the thoughts of the characters you're playing, and being given access to your character's thoughts does not lend itself to an unreliable narrator situation when the thoughts are clearly not what would actually be going through their head in that moment.

Yeah, I remember there being scenes in it where you play through it as the player, but the scene did not actually happen that way and there was stuff you didn't see. Which is just kind of a stupid copout and not good writing at all.
I should clarify, there are probably good ways to do this but David Cage is not a good writer and the entire story falls apart if you ask even basic questions about the behaviour of the characters.
