I've been working on Rainhet's tutorial and I'm now ready to do the rigging. I'm sick to the back teeth of modelling and I'm glad for a change that lets me feel like I'm making progress. I definitely didn't do the hair to the level of detail that she did. Also I stuck a little black dress on her because frankly it's kinda creepy looking at an undressed chibi avatar and the creep factor goes up by a major amount once it's in VR.
I figured I'd progress this part and get something that works in VRChat before circling back to my Belle model again to check what I've learned. I have certainly learned that I'm bad at topology. Turns out: learning Blender is easy. Learning to make the squares connect up well is hard. Being good at art is the work of years.
