in 2024 i will live the life i promised myself when i was younger, the one that is now within my grasp, instead of withdrawing from it scared and neurotic and hopeless. i will enjoy the company of friends and pride in my work. i will not be ruled by pain. this is not a statement of intent, but of what will happen. there is only one road left that leads to 2025
