Remind me what the deal was with the Broken in that route? I can't remember exactly (clearly I just need to replay the game)
the player kills the tower over the voice of the broken's strenuous objections and through his attempts to keep control over the body / enforce the tower's orders to mutilate yourself instead of attacking her
he's then, you know, more full of self loathing than usual and welcomes the fury exploding you into a red mist as repentance & atonement
ahhh yeah he's really Going Through It that route (and thereby putting you Through It too)
